Lotta Paavilainen and Stina Kopra

Lotta Paavilainen and Stina Kopra are award-winning Finnish artists who have been collaborating since 2001, specializing in rola-bola acrobatics. Trained at the École Supérieure des Arts du Cirque in Brussels, from which they graduated in 2008, they are now the only female duo in the world practicing this demanding discipline.Their performances have taken them to numerous circuses, cabarets, and variety shows across Europe. In 2015, they received the Finnish State Prize for Circus Arts with the MAD IN FINLAND collective.Blending acrobatic virtuosity with theatre and physical comedy, their work combines technical precision with a strong sense of storytelling, creating performances that are playful, moving, and deeply human.
