Rue Saint-Denis goes completely circus! A host of exciting discoveries will punctuate your experience!
Throughout the festival, the public is invited to be astonished, amazed and entertained by a variety of daily performances on RUE SAINT-DENIS, which will come alive joyfully on two pistes and three ambulatories with :
July 3 to 13 (except Monday, July 7) 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
In addition to the performances, enjoy two free 25-minute shows: MAUVAIS PERDANT by Tato Villanueva on Sunday, July 6 and Saturday, July 13 at 6:15pm and 8:40pm, and LE JERRY SHOW by Ps2 (Maxime Poulin), on Saturday, July 5 at 6:15pm and 8:40pm.
A spectacular event to mark your calendars! Direct from Catalonia, the 150 Castallers of the Vila de Gràcia will erect their striking 7-storey human towers on July 5, 6 and 12 on rue St-Denis, from 6:40 to 8:40 pm.
Become a circus artist, it's possible at La Place de la relève with the Académie de Cirque de Montréal. Back again this year, this playful playground gives adults and children alike the chance to discover and try out different circus disciplines. Try your hand at a wide range of circus arts disciplines: hoop, hand-to-hand, juggling, hammock, acrobatics, hula-hoop, trapeze dance / duo, balance and pole.
The Académie de Cirque de Montréal is Montreal's largest recreational circus center, offering classes in a wide range of circus disciplines. Fun, stimulating and safe training sessions that encourage participants to surpass themselves, supervised by passionate instructors. The doors are open to young and old, beginners and professionals alike.
