CALL FOR PROJECTS « EN PLEIN AIR”

Dear Artists,
For our outdoor and tent programming from mid May to the end of September 2024 , TOHU launches its “En Plein Air” Call for Projects and seeks :
- circus shows suitable for outdoor and tent environments
- circus acts
- circus-based strolling/walkabout
- circus based workshops proposals for general audiences and children

Performances could take place:
1) In Frédéric Back Park (“Grain de Ciel” and “Lumières de St-Michel”)
2) The streets of Saint Michel (“Aux Balcons St-Michel”)
3) On the TOHU exterior site as well as in its circus tents ( "MCC", “Weekends summer 2024”, “Grain de Ciel”, “Lumières St-Michel”)
4) On Place Émilie Gamelin ("MCC")
5) On rue Saint-Denis (“Place aux Performances MCC”)
6) At Place Pasteur (“Cirqu’Easy MCC”)
7) In parks or streets in different neighborhoods of Montreal (“Tournée des Quartiers MCC”)

If you have several projects to present, please submit one form for each of them. Your project may already be created or in development. For outdoor performances, please consider fluctuating weather conditions (light rain, high heat)

CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS

Want to get involved in the community? To dive into the heart of a dynamic festival? To discover the best of contemporary circus?
Join us for this new edition of the festival!

We are looking for people to support us in reception (welcoming the public) and venue supervision positions.

Requisites:

Ideally, we would like individuals to be available at least 2-3 shifts over the course of the festival.
