Hey! Psst! Over here!
All the charm and teasing of a couple of great clowns are packaged into this hilarious show for the whole family. Crazy antics, acrobatic feats, tenderness, and blunders! The audience is in on this reunion of sulking, bringing together two endearing performers who play at life and create a world apart—where being simple and carefree go hand in hand with comedy.
Winner of some 15 international awards—including the Prix du Cirque du Soleil at the Festival du Cirque de Demain, Pss Pss is a delicate work by masters of the clown arts. A fine performance piece that will delight parents and children alike.
The Swiss-Italian clown duo of Camilla Pessi and Simone Fassari stayed at the prestigious Teatro Dimitri clown school—without ever crossing paths. They finally met in 2004 when Camilla replaced Simone’s partner during a Swiss tour. That’s all it took to click. Four years later, they launched Compagnia Baccalà, baccalà meaning “cod”—a reference to an Italian expression describing a bumbling person with big eyes. In 2010, they created their first show, Pss Pss, and headed out on tour. Since then, they’ve performed the show over 600 times in some 50 countries on 5 continents.
