True voyage into the fantastic universe of great Dutch painter Jérôme Bosch, this surreal journey takes us inside magnificent paintings, which come alive before our enchanted eyes.

Put in motion by ingenious visual effects, the creatures that inhabit the paintings come to life: birds fly away, light shines, and we enter the works of art from which equilibrists, aerialists and acrobats arise.

Swept away by the breathtaking beauty of enchanting scenes, the audience is guided by a lecturing character who pieces together the fascinating story and works of the famous painter—an inspiration to Salvador Dali and Jim Morrison—with simplicity and humour.

Created in 2016 for the 500th anniversary of the artist’s passing, in collaboration with Copenhague’s Theatre Republique, the acclaimed show has toured the world. Les 7 Doigts have chosen to conclude the Bosch Dreams adventure home, and invite us to a captivating odyssey in celebration of imagination. Thrilling!

Bosch Dreams is dedicated to the memory of Martin Tulinius (1967 - 2016). His enthusiasm and his creative passion were essential to the birth of this artistic dream. Like Bosch, Martin was aware of the ephemeral nature of life and the paramount importance of the choices that guide us for the time allotted to us. He chose to live fully, inspiring so many people all along his way. May his joy continue to live through this show ...
Samuel Tetreault

Samuel Tétrault, director of Bosch Dreams, discussed with us the show that traveled all over the world.

Les 7 Doigts

Originally a play on words describing the unity of its members, Les 7 doigts de la main, which translates literally as "the 7 fingers of the hand", works with seven artistic codirectors moving towards one artistic goal.

For the past 15 years and even more creations, this ever-expanding collective has been travelling the world. After more than 9,000 performances in 45 countries, the troupe’s DNA is recognized by all. Its circus, where the extraordinary springs up of everyday life, is a mix of contemporary dance, physical theatre and breathtaking acrobatics.

Bosch Dreams

FINALE

Analog

Driven by a pop diva and her sidekick drummer, FINALE twists cabaret, circus and rock together into a wild party you won't forget! Joy leads the way and unforgettable feats follow one another as each of the eight friends perform breathtaking acts.

In association with Just For Laughs

Life-Cycle

DynamO Théâtre & Guillaume Doin du Collectif À deux roux

At the confluence of circus, magic and physical theatre, the bicycle show features an acrobat and objects that come alive and speak to us of transmission and legacy. A story of rebirth in all sweetness and poesy that will appeal to young and old alike.

Se prendre

Claudel Doucet & Cooper Lee Smith, de LION LION

This experience in close proximity for adventurous spectators carries us into the complexity of two acrobats’ intimacy, whom we follow in an apartment from one room to another. Tales of the coming together of our solitude, the show is its own mirror, brutal and tender, singular and disturbing.

L’autre cirque

Regroupement de plusieurs compagnies

MONTRÉAL COMPLÈTEMENT CiRQUE and La Chapelle Scènes Contemporaines come together for the benefit of the other circus, the one that disturbs, mixes, disguises! These outstanding evenings give carte blanche to artists who choose alternate creative pathways. Refreshing!
