Dozens of acrobatic creatures just entered our world wanting to connect with you… via your smartphone! Let’s meet up on St. Denis Street to follow their travelling performance, using the Quand la foule devient cirque app.

Between a two-artist pillar performed on a balcony and a balancing act on a bench, select the acrobat who will be under your control using the app. Make them walk on their hands! Want to join in the parade? Try for yourself! Receive orders and become a performer too!

On Place Pasteur, at the end of this highly participative performance, a phenomenal show awaits, and you, the public, become the creator of sounds, lights,… we need you!

The application will also allow you to enjoy the parcours de réalité augmenté.

About Anthony Venisse, Conceptor and director of Les Minutes and Rouge

Originally from France, Anthony has adopted Québec nearly 20 years ago.
In addition to being a graduate from Montréal’s National Circus School, he was professionally trained at Circus Space in London.

This multi-talented artist has played various roles, from assistant-choreographer, to teacher, clown, and now director for independent shows and companies such as Cirque du Soleil. He performed Le Concierge at TOHU in 2007, and in 2014, as part of the Festival.

Anthony is a central pillar of MONTRÉAL COMPLÈTEMENT CiRQUE as the conceptor and director of the MINUTES COMPLÈTEMENT CiRQUE and the large-scale show at Place Émilie-Gamelin since their beginning. Constantly renewing himself and pushing back the limits of his creations, he contributed greatly to the magic that is the hallmark of the Festival.
