This year, MONTRÉAL COMPLÈTEMENT CiRQUE wants residents to bring sausages, hamburgers and other treats to take part in a circus barbecue!
Inspired by popular Australian circus barbecues, the Festival team brings together artists to spend a friendly, spontaneous and acrobatic evening partying with participants. Between biting into a hot-dog and handling a spatula, participatory activities and the show L’Envers, the audience will enjoy surprise performances by the young National Circus School students.
Spinning around the Pas de géant pole, flying away on the Russian swing or winning a hula-hoop contest standing on the shoulders of a ringmaster, the audience is an instant star! In a festive atmosphere, Le Moulin à vent sets up its structures at the park giving people of all ages a chance to be masters of their own lives. Through the circus, but also the discovery of world games, some of them a thousand years old, the Moulin à vent team brings together cultures and generations. It’s a perfect reflection of the rich diversity of Montréal neighborhoods.
A night filled with circus right besides the Big O! Enjoy the welcoming Jardineries to discover the participatives activites, the show L'Envers, and the spectacular skills of the students of the École nationale de cirque!
